Classic Egg and Anchovy Canapes


A traditional Norwegian favorite for many generations. And for obvious reason…the flavors are terrific. Let’s get your party started!

1 can King Oscar Anchovies in Olive Oil
4 slices buttered bread
2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
4 lettuce leaves

Here's what you do...

  • 1 Place a leaf of lettuce on each slice of buttered bread.
  • 2 Arrange egg slices on top of lettuce, dividing equally.
  • 3 Cut bread slices into quarters.
  • 4 Top each quarter with two anchovies.
