TOSTADAS
- 3 cans King Oscar Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Hot Jalapeño Peppers
- 6 tostada shells
- Lettuce, chopped
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Avocado spread
- Cilantro, chopped
- Fresh jalapeños, sliced (optional)
AVOCADO SPREAD
- 1 small avocado, mashed
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbsp chopped red onion
- 1 fresh jalapeño, chopped (optional)
- 2 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Crispy tostadas layered with a fresh avocado spread, shredded cheddar, and lettuce, topped with jalapeño sardines and finished with cilantro and fresh jalapeño slices. Bold, bright, and built for sharing.
Instructions
- Make avocado spread: Mix together 1 small mashed avocado, chopped tomatoes, chopped red onion, chopped jalapeño (optional), chopped cilantro (optional). Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.
- Heat tostada shells in oven at 300°F for 5-7 minutes or until crisp (or toast to package instructions).
- Layer avocado spread, lettuce, and cheese on tostadas, dividing equally.
- Top with sardines and jalapeños from the cans.
- Garnish with cilantro and optional additional fresh jalapeño slices.
