Quick & Easy Mussels and Onion Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 can King Oscar Mussels in Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 tbsp dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning 
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika 
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh dill 
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh parsley 
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • Crackers, sliced vegetables, chips, and/or toasts, for serving


Smoked mussels folded into sour cream with Old Bay, smoked paprika, fresh dill, and parsley make a no-cook dip that gets better after a few hours in the fridge. 

Instructions

 

  1. In bowl, combine all the dried spices together (minced onion, Old Bay Seasoning, onion salt, smoked paprika, and black pepper).
  2. Add fresh dill, fresh parsley, and sour cream. Stir until well combined. 
  3. Fold in the mussels. (Optional) Reserve a few mussels to place on top for garnish. 
  4. Refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours for all the flavors to combine. 
  5. Serve with crackers, sliced vegetables, chips, and/or toasts.
