Fried Sardine Street Tacos

Ingredients
- 1 can King Oscar Sardines in Water, drained
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 6 corn tortillas, street size or 4” tortillas
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- Toppings & garnishes: cheese, radishes, sliced chili peppers, red onion, cilantro, salsa, lime
Sardines, pan-fried until golden and piled into corn tortillas with crisp cabbage, radishes and cilantro for a new twist on taco night.
Instructions
- Heat pan on medium-high heat and add oil.
- Gently separate sardines and fry both sides in oil.
- Warm tortillas on pan or microwave and top with cabbage then layer on sardines.
- Add toppings and garnishes.
- Serve with salsa and lime wedges.
